Different Date filters<\/span><\/h2>\n

Relative Date<\/strong>\u00a0– This filter helps to analysis the data with respect to year, quarter, month, weeks, days relative to the current date or an user created anchor date.<\/p>\n

Range of Dates<\/strong> – If the data has to be analyzed based on certain user defined interval<\/p>\n

Start Date and End Date<\/strong> – End date is helpful for As-of Date analysis<\/p>\n

Browse Period<\/strong> – Data can be analyzed on various date granularity<\/p>\n

My Use-case<\/span><\/h2>\n

To have a range filter in my dashboard to filter crosstab data, which consist of sales values aggregated by months.<\/p>\n

Steps<\/span><\/h2>\n

Create a dashboard with Date field in it<\/p>\n

Right-click on the Date field and select \u201cshow quick filter\u201d<\/p>\n

In the Filter option of the Date field, select \u201cContinuous\u201d instead of \u201cDiscrete\u201d<\/p>\n

Result<\/span><\/h2>\n

Drag and drop the Date field to the filters mark and you will get all the option related to Date filter<\/p>\n
